Workshop to Ignite Students' Mathematical Identities
Welcome to the Ignite Students' Mathematical Identities Workshop page!
We are delighted to host and work with 20 mathematics teachers (K-12) from the Pittsburgh area for this unique professional development opportunity. The main goal of the workshop is to provide teachers with opportunities to create meaningful activities connected to 'Meet a Mathematician' videos. In particular, we will learn how to:
Introduce your students to a diverse group of mathematicians.
Create activities related to contemporary math research.
